Shift Cable “Snake” Installer

This tool is a must have for those replacing the intermediate cable on the Mercruiser outdrives. This allows single person installation of the cable. Simply disconnect the linkage on the engine end of the cable, then pull out the inner cable. Screw the brass fitting on this tool into the end of the cable, then pull the cable from the boat which pulls this installer along with it. Once the cable is out, disconnect from old cable and install into new cable, then pull the tool to cable back into the boat. This is a very easy tool to use and is a real time saver!
